Oxfam hiring Assistant Financier.
Job Purpose
- To keep the accounting and to assist in financial reporting and accounting of the Country Office, including travel expense reports and reconciling bank statements.
- To be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation related to a defined accounting area.
Job Requirements Essential
- Graduate in relevant field and /or partly qualified accountant (DEC or BTS in accounting or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in providing range of finance support services ideally in the NGO sector and community based organization
- Master depth of computer software (Software, Excel, Access, Internet) and a standard accounting software
- Proven experience of operating computerised accounting systems and coding systems and use
- Good command of French and ability to work and communicate in English
- Proven ability to work in a challenging and progressive working environment: Ability to work independently and under pressure, as well in a team.
